AJ Ikner AJ Ikner has performed throughout the United States and abroad during her career. She has appeared with such prestigious groups as the North Carolina Symphony Orchestra, The Allentown Wind Ensemble and the Muhlenberg College Theater Orchestra. As a Woodwind Specialist, AJ is proficient on all woodwinds, although her primary instrument has always been considered oboe.

In addition to performing, AJ was the Woodwinds Professor at Campbell University, North Carolina, where she taught Applied Lessons, Woodwind Methods, Music Literature and Appreciation, as well as directed the Woodwind Quintet and Saxophone Quartet. AJ also taught at Resurrection Music School in Cary, North Carolina.  She currently teaches at her home studio in Round Hill, Virginia. 

AJ received a MM Woodwinds Performance degree from East Carolina University, North Carolina, in 2000, and a BA Music degree from Kutztown University, Pennsylvania.
